Mary MacCormick was the first daughter of Angus MacCormick 1785, and Mary McLucais.

Mary was born about 1825, Suie, Argyll, Scotland; died 5 September 1879 Durham, Grey Co., Ontario. Mary married John McArthur, born December 1824 and died 17 June 1900 Durham, Grey Co., Ontario. John and Mary McArthur are buried at Rocky Pioneer Cemeter, Bentinck Township, Grey Co., Ontario.
No children.

Children not included in the OPR's as children of Angus and Mary McCormick are Hugh born c 1821, Mary born c 1826 and Flora born c 1832. These three are listed in the 1841 census in the household of Angus McCormick and they have been accounted for in Ontario, Canada.

Donald McCormick 1818 and Alexander McCormick 1826 emigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1843.

Mary McLucais, Archibald, Hugh, John and two their sisters (believed to be Mary and Flora) emigrated in 1846 to Canada from Scotland.
