Mary MacCormick was the second daughter of John MacCormick ca. 1792, and Margaret Black.
Mary married Archibald MacInnes who was a joiner in Creich, Ross of Mull.
Archibald's father, John McInnes, and brother, Duncan, were both drowned in the Mary / Catherine of Iona tragedy on 10/08/1822. See Catherine of Iona . Archibald's mother was Ann McQuarrie and in her OPR death record the boat involved in the tragedy is referred to as the Mary of Iona.
I can't find a birth record for son Charles (so far) who signed his mother's death record.
I have found son John Archibald's marriage record and it says that he was born in 1843 but his SRI Birth record gives the date as 05/06/1862..
When Mary died she was at Portnoish, Kintra.
