Margret MacCormick was the second daughter of John MacCormick b.ca.1816, and Mary McFarlane.
Margret was born in Canada.
Margaret was married twice.
First to Charles E. Foster with whom she had a son Cecil H. Foster (b. 2/11/1891) in either Michigan or Minnesota.
Second to George Adam Eckert (m.15/10/1902). George A. Eckert (aka Adam Eckert) was a Union Soldier in Company H 3rd Minnesota Infantry. He was the son of Peter Eckert and Mary France. George Eckert died on 28/11/1917, aged 73 years, at Spokane, and is buried in Greenwood Memorial Terrace, Spokane, Washington, USA.
Margaret's son, Cecil Herbert Foster, married Frances E. Jarvis on 7/02/1914, at Spokane. In his World War 1 Draft Registration Card, 1917-1918, He lists a wife and one child under 12 years as his dependents. Cecil was a printing pressman. Cecil died on 17 Dec 1941, at Yountville, Napa County, California, USA. He is buried at Veterans Memorial Grove Cemetry, Yountville.
