Malcolm MacCormick was born about 1801(1841 Census).
Malcolm married Janet ( Jessie ) Campbell on 31/12/1828 (OPR). They had eight children that I am aware of - seven found in OPRs and one in the 1841 Census.
When their eldest daughter Ann 1830 married John Clark, in Archiavaig, on 13/06/1856 both Malcolm and Janet were not listed as deceased. However, in the 1851 Census Malcolm is listed as a Widower. So far, I have been unable to find a death record for either Malcolm or Jannet. Janet must have died between 1841 and 1851.
At the time of the 1841 Census, Malcolm and his family appeared to be living in the same house as Angus c.1806, his wife Marrion (Sarah) McEachern and their son Donald. Also living at the same residence was Flora McEachern - Marrion's older sister.
The fact that Angus c.1806 and Malcolm ca.1801 were living in the same house, may indicate that they were related ie. brothers or cousins, but so far no proof.
