Notes for - Lachlan Alexander MacCormick b.1839.

Alexander Lachlan MacCormick was born on 23/04/1839, the sixth son of John MacCormick 1784, and Mary MacDonald. He married Margaret Brown in 1879.

When he got married he was working as a railway clerk, and living in Greenock.

I think Alexander Lachlan was the Registrar at Catchean for a time, and possibly his father before him.
