Jess MacCormick was the fourth son of Hugh MacCormick 1791, and Mary Paterson.
He was a twin brother of Donald.
Jess, and his 5 year old sister Christina, died on 30th. September 1849 - "supposed of Cholera but Dr Beveridge who saw their corpses said their death was caused by the eating of apples which their mother brought from Glasgow"(OPR).
