Dugald MacCormick was the son of John MacCormick 1792, and Margaret Black (SDR).
However, there appears to be a problem with his year of birth. According to his death record, and his age given on the 1881 census, he was born around 1829-1830, but his OPR birth record says he was born in 1823.
He married Jane Stewart Holding (or Holden) on Iona on 24/01/1850.(OPR)
Dugald was a Boilermaker and lived in Glasgow with his family.
