Donald MacCormick was the first natural ( illegitimate ) son of Neil MacCormick b.1788, and Flora MacArthur (OPR).
Donald was a Shoemaker and Journeyman. He married Catherine McLellan and lived in Greenock (SMR). They had four children that I know of so far (1891 Census + OPR).
I found Donald in the 1861 census when I was looking for his brother Duncan. Strangely, in that census Donald was called Duncan???
