Catherine MacCormick was the second daughter of Neil MacCormick b.1788, and Flora MacDonald.
Catherine married James MacArthur on 10th October 1850. They lived at Sligneach, on Iona, and were crofters.
The Culbhuirg MacInnes's are descended from Catherine and James. Their daughter Christina MacArthur married John MacInnes.Their son was Peter MacInnes ( Culbhuirg ) 1903-1993.
James MacArthur died at West End Iona on 18th March 1912, at the age of 95yrs. His son Finlay MacArthur ( Leith ) signed his death record.
Catherine died on18th January 1923, at the age of 100yrs.
