Notes for - Angus MacCormick ca.1806.

Angus MacCormick was born ca.1806. He married Ann Beaton on 27/01/1827. They had eight children ( Six found in my OPR records plus two courtesy of S.Z. and I.K. via C.M.).

Angus, Ann and family emigrated to Vaughn Township, Ontario, Canada in 1846. Angus died soon after arriving. By 1847 Ann and the children had moved to Glenelg, where she married her second husband Archibald McDonald ( S.Z.+ R.C. via C.M.).

In the 1871 Ontario Census Ann Beaton was 66 years old and Archibald McDonald, Ann's second husband, was also 66 years of age. There was a 25 year old Catherine McDonald living with them in Glenelg too (S.Z. via C.M.).
